After finishing high school,
a bochur starts a special time of his life. A time full of promise
dreams and potential. A time to form the future. Many choose a yeshiva away from home
where they have a chance to grow in Eretz Yisroel with the special תורת ארץ ישראל.
Yerushalayim
is blessed with many yeshivos and figuring out which one is the best fit can
sometimes be challenging. For some bochurim the exhilaration of learning together with
hundreds of talmidim in one beis medrash is something that they look forward to while others
prefer a yeshiva with a more personal approach that offers close guidance from experienced
and dedicated mechanchim.
For this bochur Yeshiva Toras Simcha can be the answer.
YTS
is well suited for the bochur who
won’t feel comfortable in a larger yeshiva and won’t compromise on high caliber learning with a
geshmake group of serious bnei torah.
Although
the yeshiva has an intense three seder learning
schedule the yeshiva also provides an in-house gym along with extracurricular activities,
occasional trips, and sh abatons, to be מחזק the bochurim, allowing them to let off some steam
so they can keep focused on their learning and growth in ruchnius.
The yeshiva
is led by our esteemed Rosh Yeshiva Harav Zishe Salamon Shlita who’s weekly
shmuz is a source of hashkafa and inspiration. His presence in yeshiva gives a bochur an
opportunity to develop a relationship with an esteemed talmid chacham, a tremendous pikeach
who is available for anyone seeking an eitza tova.
The yeshivas staff
is made up of a blend of choshuve rebbeim with decades of experience
together with younger rebbeim that together provide for a warm and vibrant atmosphere. They
work together to instill in each bochur a geshmak in learning while helping him to develop and
hone his learning skills, and to improve his reading, understanding, and analyzation of the
gemara. The small shiur size allows the rebbeim to develop a relationship with each bochur so
that they can help him to build on his personal strengths and assist him with challenges in
avodas hashem.
The yeshiva
is located in a recently refurbished building on Rechov Sorotzkin in yerushalayim.
The dormitories are comfortable and fully air conditioned and our kitchen staff provide delicious
and nourishing meals. The yeshivas staff is available to take care of all of a bochur’s needs so he
can
focus on shteiging and developing himself as a ben torah.
